This blog was dedicated to my Sims2 Legacy Challenge household. Now that I have finished the 10 generation challenge I'm using it for other Sims2 related projects as well.

I Love My Job

Going to work is so easy, when you don't have to worry about the daily travel-times.

Calista can just fly over and not think about construction delays, gawker delays, or sun delays. She does still stop for accidents though. After all, that's part of the job discription. Posted by Picasa

Unhappy Birthday

Hank is not having a happy Birthday. Something has really upset him.

Could it be Hope's new clothes and haircolor? No.
Could it be the hokey bib-overalls he's wearing? No.
Could it be that he's not ready to be a teenager yet? No.

Then what's causing Hank to be so miserable?

Ahh, now we know

Yeah, I guess having the ghost of your dead Grandfather show up and cry at your birthday party would make a child upset.

BTW - the little girl here is Veronica, the third of the quadruplets I've been playing. Her father is Warren (Wilma's brother) and her mother is Andrea Hogan. Posted by Picasa

This is more like it

Hank grows up well (even with the wailing ghost) and likes the way he looks.

Hank checks out his muscles and thinks, "Hmmm. Not too shabby."

Orphanage Fire

Early one morning Calista is reading the newspaper and sees a story about an orphanage fire in a nearby town.

All of the children were moved to safety but they have nowhere to place all the children. There is still one child (name and age not given) still living at the hospital until other arrangements can be made. Contributions were being requested to help with the housing for the child as well as the rebuilding of the orphanage.

Calista's heart is touched by the story of this child. She knows that there is something she can do. She goes straight to the phone and makes a contribution. She also asks about the procedure to either foster or adopt the child.

When Gregory got home from work, she told him the story and what she had discovered about adoption. After talking it over with each other, they called a family meeting. Posted by Picasa

Hank Makes a Friend

Hmmm, Hank has a way of making "Just chillin'" into something else.

During a break from his money trees and painting, he takes a moment to get to know Lydia better. Although she's in Hope's class, he feels that his accomplishments should be able to impress her. Especially with all of the A+ grades he brings home every day. And if that isn't enough to impress her, he'll let her know that he's not even halfway through his teenage years and has already made ยง10,000. Posted by Picasa

Goodnight Lydia

Wow! Something he said must have gotten her interest.

Today's the day

Calista is waiting for the child to be dropped off today. She doesn't remember being this nervous with the birth of her other two children!

Of course, with Hope and Hank she had time to get used to them before they could voice their displeasure with her.

This child has had a life that Calista has not been a part of. She hopes that she can help this child to deal with everything that has happened and still be happy. Posted by Picasa

Hello Steffi

Calista tried so hard not to cry when she saw little Steffi. This little angel has been through so much in her short little life.

But when Steffi looked up at her and asked "Will you be my Mommy?" Calista's heart melted and almost broke. Posted by Picasa

Gregory and Steffi

"Are you my new Daddy?" Steffi asks when she sees Gregory crossing the room.

"Yes, baby. I am. Welcome home, little one." Posted by Picasa

Happy Social Worker

The Social Worker had waited to make sure that the new family would be alright. Now she was ready to go back to the office and make her reports.

She feels confident that they have found a good match here. But she'll still need to keep in touch to be sure. Posted by Picasa

Read to me?

Gregory is really enjoying these sweet childhood times again. He hadn't realized how much he missed reading to a child or being greeted when he comes home from school.

Calista has already helped teach Steffi how to study and they found that Steffi has a real love of books. Posted by Picasa

Young Steffi

Calista was a little concerned when Steffi wouldn't wash her face for three days after the trip to the fair. Posted by Picasa

Pink Is My Favorite Color

Steffi is glad to have such a pretty older sister. She especially likes her haircolor.

She also likes the silly A+ dance Hope does every day. It makes Steffi smile. Posted by Picasa

Who's this?

So, maybe Hank is interested in more than just his money trees. Here he is sneaking out of the house with Lydia.

Hmmm, that boy has potential after all.Posted by Picasa

Hope's Favorite Person?

Herself of course. She has a new hairstyle and clothes for the new school year. Even though they have to wear a uniform to school, she was still able to talk Calista into opening up her tight fist and letting her buy some new clothes.

"Oh yeah! I'm so hot." Posted by Picasa

Hope's a Typical Teenager

Hope is often so fed up with her Mother.

Calista won't let her date an older man. She has to abide by her curfew. She wasn't able to by the halter dress that she wanted when they went shopping.

Calista is just so mean! Posted by Picasa

Welcome Home Mommy!

With the almost daily arguements that Calista has with Hope, the welcome she gets from Steffi makes a world of difference in her day.

Steffi is such an affectionate and playful child. Calista hopes that she stays the way she is for a long, long time. Posted by Picasa

Oh, No. Not Again.

Steffi wonders if she should tell her new family about the strange things she's seen lately.

She really doesn't want to have to tell them, "I see dead people." Posted by Picasa

Hi Stephan

Hope is just a few months away from her birthday. She has had her eye on Stephan Gothier for some time. She likes the way his eyes seem to twinkle when he smiles. When she's an adult she wants to see where this friendship will go.

Hope can tell that her Father wants her to meet one of the local policemen he knows, but she really can't imagine any friend of her father's being young enough or cute enough to keep her attention. After all, Dad is so old!!! Posted by Picasa

Silly Frederick

Calista barely pays any attention to the ghost of her late Father-in-law. He was stuck in the chair for several hours before I realized that the family seemed to be thinking of Frederick a lot today. And always when they came around that corner.

I went in for a closer look and found... another Glitchy Ghost. Posted by Picasa
