Good news
Shortly after returning from the honeymoon Frederick was greeted with some very good news. He was going to be a Daddy!
Frederick was very excited, but a little worried too. He never really knew his father so he doesn't know if he knows how to be a dad. But then he thought of his Uncle Evan and realized that he had the perfect "father." He would just try to be a loving and supportive to his child as Evan was to him.
Honeymoon plans
Frederick had made all the arrangements for the honeymoon as a special gift for Maura.
"Our plane leaves tonight for Vacation Island. I've booked us for a full week in the Honeymoon Suite. Each room has it's own swimming pool and hot tub."
Maura was stunned. She didn't know how to tell him that he had perfectly planned her dream honeymoon. That's exactly what she used to dream of as a child playing TS1 with her friends.
Wow!
Grace was so excited to be at a wedding. She was happy that Maura was joining the family, but a little confused too. She thought Maura was already part of the family. She remembers seeing pictures of Maura giving her a bath when she was "much younger."
Grace fell in love with the new chapel and thought that Maura looked like a princess. She was so overwhelmed that Grandma claims to have heard her repeating under her breath, "This is a dream come true. This is a dream come true."
Will you...
Maura has been living with the family for some time and her relationship with Frederick was only getting stronger.
One day after work Frederick asked him to join him in the kitchen for some good news. He'd gotten a promotion! He's now the Congressperson for Legacyville.
But his biggest surprise was when he dropped down to one knee.
I know the family secret
Now that Grace is in school, she's started to notice differences in other children's parents. Grace confronts Grandpa Evan with her suspicions.
"Papaw, there really are aliens, aren't there? And we're all part-alien, right?"
Evan thought they'd have a few more years before they had to explain the facts of life to her, but decided that Grace was ready to hear them now.
"Yes, Sweetheart. Our family has been lucky enough to meet aliens twice now since we've moved to Legacyville. Both my Mommy and yours are half alien. That's what makes them very special. And since you are also part-alien, that makes you very special too."
