Uncle Christopher makes a visit

"Surprise!"

Frederick never even knew he had a great-great-uncle Christopher, so he was very surprised to meet him. Of course, it would have been a better surprise visit if he were alive!

But then, Christopher was a knowledge Sim and always wanted to see ghosts and aliens. He apparently figured this would be the perfect birthday present for the young lad.

He was wrong.

Happy Birthday, Frederick!

Frederick had a Birthday today. Finally, he can go to school just like cousin Fiona does. He can learn to read all by himself and find out about all the things in the world that he never knew.

Mommy Elizabeth is very happy that he grew up well, but wishes she had planned a party for him. But he said that he didn't want one, so she hopes he doesn't regret it later.

Little do they realize that someone has planned a special gift just for Frederick.

Cousin Fiona's favorite story too?

Even Cousin Fiona helps out with story-time. Frederick was so glad that she chose to read Mr. Teddy's story to him. It's still his favorite.

Frederick tries hard not to laugh at Fiona's hat though. After all, she didn't laugh when he started shining.

Mr. Teddy has his own story!

Momma Elizabeth shares her favorite story. It's about Mr. Teddy!

Frederick loves to hear about all of Mr. Teddy's adventures and wants to learn how to read by himself. "When I grow up, I'm going to read all about Mr. Teddy," he tells his Mommy.

Uncle Evan and Little Frederick

Evan helps teach Frederick how to play music. Frederick knew that the sticks tasted good and he can make loud noises when he uses them, but this is even better.

"When I grow up I'm going to play lots of pretty music, and read about Mr. Teddy all by myself," he thinks.

Frederick has only seen Gary Hiatt (his father) once in his life. Uncle Evan is always around to teach him things and to play with him though, so Frederick doesn't mind too much.

Frederick makes a new friend

Frederick makes a new friend. A very special bear his cousin Fiona gave him. She says that Mr. Teddy is a very good listener and will always love him no matter what.

Frederick only knows that he's soft and fun to hug. Maybe when he gets older he'll understand what she means. But for right now, he just wants to hold Mr. Teddy.

Story time with Grandma

Fiona enjoys story-time with Grandma D'Alien. She realizes that they share a special bond.

Grandma tells her that she's a very special person and makes Fiona promise to never let anyone make her think differently. Fiona doesn't really understand, but she know that it's important to Grandma., so she promises.
