Adamson Family Legacy

This blog was dedicated to my Sims2 Legacy Challenge household. Now that I have finished the 10 generation challenge I'm using it for other Sims2 related projects as well.

What's that?

Hope is very good at chess. But she's even better at distracting her father so she can cheat.

"Hey Dad! What's that over there?" Posted by Picasa

A+ Dance

"Yea! I got an A+!"

Hank finally got to perform the "A+ Dance." He had practiced the dance for so long, hoping that one day he'd be able to do the dance in Hope's face. Yeah, just a little bit of sibling rivalry here.

Hope grows up

The family gathered together to celebrate Hope's birthday. Hank wanted to have his party too, but Maura kept reminding him that his birthday isn't for a while longer. Hank hates being second (or last as he sees it).

"Be patient, Son. Your day will get here soon enough." Posted by Picasa

Hope

The oldest of the 8th Generation is now a teenager. Hope grew up well and wants to be popular, just like her Father.

(Of course, she'll probably take to it easier since she has an Outgoing of 9. Her Dad is only a 4.) Posted by Picasa

Hope's gift

Maura has promised that she will take Hope shopping tomorrow for contacts. Hope has never liked her glasses. She knows that she has beautiful eyes, and doesn't want anything to detract from her face. Posted by Picasa

Too Modest?

Hope still hasn't gotten over how well she grew up. She is always stopping by the mirror to make sure that she still looks good. Posted by Picasa

Gregory and Hank

Gregory is always so proud to see his son run out and greet him when he gets home from work. He knows that these special hugs won't last long so he plans to enjoy them as long as he can. Posted by Picasa

Calista's Day

Hank runs out to greet Calista when she gets home from work.

"Hey Mom! I saw you on TV today!"

"Yes, I had to make a visit to SimCapital today. They wanted to thank me for stopping the bank robbery last week." Posted by Picasa

Hank Is So Proud

"Mom, you're the bomb!"

Hank loves to hear all of her stories of battles with the Criminal Mastermind. She tells him many tales of how she is able to keep Legacyville safe. Posted by Picasa

Satellite Update

Maura has kept her promise to always stay in touch with Wilma and Anthony Stewart. She is always invited to all special events and drops by frequently. Posted by Picasa

Hmmm...

Of course, there is another reason for her to stop by. Maura and Brandon have discovered that Love is even sweeter the second time around. Posted by Picasa

Maura and Amin

Time has gone by and Wilma has fallen in love with and married Amin Sims. When they got engaged, Wilma invited Maura over to tell her the news.

Amin was quick to let Maura know that her freindship with Wilma is very important to him too. In fact, he would like them all to be friends.

Maura was glad that Wilma had someone to take care of her and Anthony Stewart. She won't be around forever and has been concerned with their welfare.

Maura and Amin spent quite some time chatting and getting to know each other better. This really helped relieve so much of Maura's worry. Posted by Picasa

New Love

Because Wilma is too aware of how short life can be, she wanted to have another child right away. Amin understands her feelings and thought that it would be good to have a child while Anthony Stewart is still young. He didn't think that a teenager and an infant in the same household was somthing he wanted to experience.

(I love this photo. The expressions on both their faces are so sweet.) Posted by Picasa

Wilma and Amin

Wilma never thought that she would be truly happy again. She still misses Giles and sees him everytime she looks in Anthony Stewart's face. She knows that she will always love him but is glad that she had enough love for Amin too.

She is still amazed at how patient Amin was when they first started dating. He has been so sweet with Anthony and helps him study and plays with him often. He's such a good father-figure. Posted by Picasa

Telling Anthony Stewart

Wilma wanted to wait for a while before she told Anothony Stewart of the new family member. She finally told him on Saturday morning.

Anthony Stewart was so excited he even offered to go to his room and get some of his toys for the new baby.

"Honey, it's going to be a while before the baby is going to be able to play with your toys. But that is so nice that you want to share. You're going to be such a wonderful big brother." Posted by Picasa

Working together

When a fire broke out in the kitchen, all of Maura's old training kicked in fast. While she grabbed the extinguiser, Calista wrapped the fire in a force field to keep it contained.

Between the two of them, they had the fire out before the Fire Department got there! Posted by Picasa

Preparing the Family

Maura feels as though her time is just about through. Although Gregory was against it, Maura wanted to prepare the children.

"Gregory, they need to be told. They have grown up so well. You and Calista have done such a great job raising them. I know that they are ready and mature enough to know the truth." Posted by Picasa

Taking a trip

"Mom, maybe I'm not ready." With this, Gregory gets up from the table to leave.

Maura starts her tale, "Children, you need to know that I will be going away soon. It's getting close to time for me to go see your Grandfather and Uncle Giles. I will miss you both so very much, and when I leave I won't be able to come back. But I will check on you often because I love you and always will.

"But I am old, and very tired. And I miss Giles and your Grandfather so much. I know that you will be sad, and it's ok to be sad when I go. But remember that I will be happy and that I won't be alone where I'm going." Posted by Picasa

Do I Have To?

The very next night, Maura was surprised to feel a chill run down her spine. When she turned to see if a window had been opened, she saw the Grim Reaper.

Even the sight of the hula dancers and the fruit drink didn't keep Maura from experiencing a momentary sadness. She thought of all that she was leaving behind; her family, her friends, and her new love, Brandon. But she knew that it was time.

With a shrug of her shoulders, she took the drink and left. Posted by Picasa

Ghost Glitch

I wanted to end this posting on a lighter note. So here's a glitchy photo of Joe (Carr) and Sheldon (Hanby) Adamson. Somehow they got joined together as they roamed the house. They traveled like this for some time before they were able to seperate themselves. :-D Posted by Picasa
