Adamson Family Legacy

This blog was dedicated to my Sims2 Legacy Challenge household. Now that I have finished the 10 generation challenge I'm using it for other Sims2 related projects as well.

Anyone Need A Gardener?

I couldn't resist throwing in a glitchy shot. After I loaded the new patch, this is what greeted me at the Adamson House. Posted by Picasa

Imari Hates Ghosts!

One of the major complaints the Adamson Family has had about where they live is that the house is haunted. Even though they are ancestors and former family members the spirits still take great joy at scaring the newer residents.

Even taking a trip to the bathroom can be an experience. Posted by Picasa

Glowing Lights

It seems like only days have passed since Iris joined the family, but it's time for her birthday already.

"Go, Little Glow-Worm!" Posted by Picasa

Look At Me!

Iris can hardly believe her new look. She looks so grown up. So much bigger. So much like... Posted by Picasa

Me!

Hey, look! I have a twin sister!

It's a good thing that the family is also celebrating Imari's birthday today. (Otherwise the controller would be way too confused.). Posted by Picasa

What?!?!?

"That's my Baby Iris? Why, she's beautiful!"

Hope doesn't seem to mind that her two daughters look so much alike. She's just thrilled with the way they are growing up. Posted by Picasa

That's Just Too Eerie

Imari can't seem to stop staring at Iris. If it weren't for the clothes, she'd think she was looking in some strange mirror.

At first she thought it was cool that Iris looked like her. She is the oldest of course, it's only natural that her baby sister would want to look like her. But now it's starting to freak her out.

She's glad today's her birthday party too. She can get new clothes and maybe a new look too. Posted by Picasa

Imari's New Look

Imari couldn't stand it any longer. She jumped up from the table, ran to the bathroom, grabbed a brush, and started combing out her hair.

She had just gotten her hair pulled up in ponytails when Hope called her to blow out her own candles. Posted by Picasa

A New Imari

Imari loved her new clothes and makeup. She also had a little more time to do something more with her hairstyle.

She's much happier now. She doesn't look a thing like Iris now. She's her own person again. Life is good. Posted by Picasa

Love Hug

Iris liked looking just like her big sister. Now that Imari has changed her appearance, Iris was feeling a little down.

But Mommy Hope was right there with a "Love Hug" just for Iris. Mommies always seem to know the best remedies. Posted by Picasa

Together Time

Although Imari was more interested in money than knowledge, Stephan wanted to share his love of the stars with her. She wasn't interested until he reminded her that higher skills meant larger scholarships to school.

"Turn off the flashlight Imari."

"What flashlight? I don't have a... Daddy! What's happening?" Posted by Picasa

He's Gone?

Imari's screams woke her sister up and brought the whole household running to "The Outlook." Posted by Picasa

Now What?

Imari told everyone what had happened, how Stephan had been sucked into a stream of light.

"The aliens took Daddy!"

Hope sent Iris back to bed, telling her that Imari was just playing a game. Once she was gone, Hope started asking more questions of Imari then of her Mother. She had seen the family photos and heard the legends of former Adamson's being abducted by aliens, but had never really believed them.

"They were just stories, right? Weren't they, Mom? Mom?" Posted by Picasa

What's That Noise?

Early the next morning the family heard a strange noise outside.

They ran out to see a strange object hovering over the street. Posted by Picasa

They saw a pinpoint sized hole in the craft get larger and larger and larger.

Suddenly, they saw something falling from the opening. What is that? Are they dumping the trash before they leave our world?Posted by Picasa

"It's Daddy! They brought him back!" Imari raced to the street.

"Nooooooo!" Stephan's yell seemed to echo as he fell to the ground. Posted by Picasa

Stephan slowly picks himself up from where he was thrown to the curb. Posted by Picasa

"That was not an e-ticket ride!" Posted by Picasa

"Oh my aching back!" Posted by Picasa

"It really happened?" Posted by Picasa

Uh oh. Now what? Posted by Picasa

Back Home Again

Stephan is so glad to be back home again. He always knew that there was more out there than just stars.

He's glad to be home, but he kind of wants to go on the ride again. Posted by Picasa
