Today's the Big Day

Calista is so excited to come home from work today. She's getting married tonight.

If she hadn't just been promoted to Lieutenant she wouldn't have gone to work at all. But she and Sophie Miguel had to finish up paperwork from a big bust.

"Today's the day!" Calista shouts.

Sophie is only thinking about all the money Calista is marrying into.

Calista joins the family

Calista and Gregory prepare to say their vows in the family chapel.

She hopes that they accept her and will be happy about the little surprise she has for them all. Including Gregory.

With this ring...

Calista watches with tears in her eyes as Gregory slips the ring on her hand.

She hears his beautiful voice saying "This ring is a symbol of our love. A love without end. As this ring encompasses your finger, so our love encompasses us."

To the Groom

Frederick leads a toast to the Groom.

"I have always been proud of you," Frederick says. "I am glad that you will be taking over the family legacy when I am gone. To you, and to Calista. Cheers!"

Honeymoon surprise

Gregory had noticed that Calista was not feeling well while on their honeymoon, but was still surprised when Calista told him the news.

Gregory was going to be a Daddy! They just got back from their trip and now get to share the good news with the rest of the family.

Although Gregory still takes a moment to say, "Hi Baby. Welcome home."

1am Cravings

Calista has had a fairly easy pregnancy. No bad nausea and no morning sickness. The only thing she could do without are these strange cravings she gets in the middle of the night.

She was hoping that they would lessen as her delivery time drew nearer, but if anything they've gotten worse!

Baby is awake

Calista has discovered that if the baby is awake she has to be too. Even though it's after midnight (again), Calista is awake and enjoying some quiet time with Maura.

It feels as though the baby is extra-active tonight.

Help!

Shortly after Maura headed to bed, Calista realized that the back pains she'd been having tonight were actually labor pains.

"Someone! Help! Anybody! Please!"

Hi Baby

Funny how quickly she forgot the pain. All she had to do was look in her baby's eyes.

(Calista can smile! This is the first smile on her face since Gregory proposed.)

Baby Hope

Baby Hope has her Daddy's green eyes and her Mommy's hair and skintone.

Unca Giles

"No, honey. You can't eat Unca Giles' nose. I need that for later."

Giles really loves being an Uncle. He is usually the first to the crib as soon as Hope wakes up. He loves to play with her and feed her. He is even willing to change her diapers.

Grandpa Frederick

Grandpa is always willing to help out as well.

Rainbow time

Finally it is time for Hope's birthday. Calista sings a little song to her about "Walking on Rainbows" and baby Hope grows from a baby into a little girl.

Best Friends

Calista takes care of the important things first. Potty-training Hope so she doesn't have to change anymore diapers for a while.

Someone has a secret

Calista has a special surprise to share with Gregory when he gets home from work tonight.

She's already had to pull some of her maternity clothes out of storage, so chances are he would have guessed soon anyway.

Although she is a Family sim, they agreed that two children will be enough. Time to get the baby name book out again.

First Date

Giles has had a special friendship with Wilma since they were both in grade school together. Giles really wanted to ask her out but was so nervous and afraid that she would laugh at him.

What if she didn't think of him in that way? After a talk with Gregory, he called and asked her out for a date. She said yes, so the agreed to get together to see a movie.

When they met downtown, she ran and jumped in his arms!

First kiss

After the movie had ended, Giles walked Wilma to the phone so she could call her Father to pick her up.

While they waited, they shared their first kiss.

Giles was so happy about how well this first date was going that he asked Wilma out for a second date the next weekend.

Then he stumbled over the words "W-W-Wilma? Uhm... Will you go steady with me?"

She smiled and told Giles that she had already asked her Dad if it was ok. She was really hoping that he would ask and wanted to be ready just in case he did.

Breathing exercises

Calista wakes up at 3am to go to the bathroom. While she's there she feels some familiar pains.

"Oh, no! Why can't this baby wait until I get to the hospital?"

In between breathing exercises, whe screams out Gregory's name.

Baby Hank

After the delivery, all Calista can think of is that baby Hank has the same pretty green eyes as his sister and their Daddy.

What a beautiful baby.
