Grace's Birthday Party

Grace makes sure to get the biggest slice of cake.

She is so excited! She gets to sit at the table with the rest of the family, sleep in a real bed, and even go to school tomorrow.

Wow! Life is good for Grace. Now if only she had some friends to play with. She hopes that she'll be able to make lots of friends at school.

Grace grows up well

The family has gathered to help Grace celebrate her birthday.

Here is (clockwise) Papaw Evan, Cousin Frederick, his girlfriend Maura, Daddy Sheldon, Mama Fiona, Aunt Elizabeth, and of course, the birthday girl, Grace.

Grace has a Birthday

This has been one celebrating family since the last posting.

Frederick takes his little cousin to the cake to help her blow out the candles.

Maura makes her move

Frederick invited Maura Simpson over for a visit one day after work. He was very surprised to learn that she wasnt that much older than him at all.

After a little flirting and a sizzling kiss, the couple decided to have a dip in the hot tub.

Frederick was so bowled over by his emotions that he asked her to move in with him. She said yes right away.

Welcome to the family, Maura.

Father-Daughter time

Another form of relaxation has always been painting. That's something Fiona got from her Dad. Plus, he often tells her stories about when he used to paint side-by-side with his Mother D'Alien.

Maybe this is another hobby she can pass on to Grace. Fiona likes the idea of keeping traditions going.

Duet time

Time for a little Mother-Daughter duet.

Music has always been Fiona's choice for relaxation as well as a form of escape, perhaps that's something that'll be passed on to Grace as well.

Grace's first steps

Fiona is very patient as she helps Grace take her first steps.

Next stop, potty-training. Fiona still has a fear of changing diapers. Maybe Grace will get through the training process quickly, as she seems to be a quick learner.

And a one and a two...

Fiona teaches Grace some of the basics in music theory.

Frederick's first day at work

Frederick hitches a ride from Uncle Evan on his first day at work as a City Councilman.

Of course, it'll be a while before he has the prestige that Evan has as CEO of Simsville Incorporated, but Frederick knows that he's got what it takes to make a go in politics.

Grace Grows Up

The day after Frederick & Elizabeth's birthday party, the family gathers for yet another one. This time, Grace has a birthday.

Thinking that it seems as though she was born only days ago, Papaw Evan proudly takes her to the cake to blow out her candles.

Almost like a miracle, a change is noticed in baby Grace. She doesn't look like a baby anymore.

Frederick Grows Up

Frederick shares a birthday cake and party with his Mother. He knows that he will soon be moving on with his life and wanted to share one more special day with the woman who has always been the most important person in his life.

Frederick knows that since he's growing up, someone will come along and take Elizabeth's place in his heart, so he doesn't mind spending this birthday with just the family.

Elizabeth grows up

Both Elizabeth and Frederick celebrated their birthdays on the same day.

Elizabeth is still quite stunning and has men flocking around her most of the time now. They call her all evening long. Not only that, but men often walk by the house just in case she might be outside.

As a Professional Party Guest, she meets lots of people and hears lots of tales. Hmmm, maybe she should have been a gossip columnist instead.

A little blackmail material

Frederick looks like he's having quite a conversation with Grace. If anyone would have been nearby they would have heard him say;

"Yeah, you may love me now, but wait until you're a teenager and I embarrass you by telling you that I used to change your diaper!"

"Nah, don't worry kid. You and me'll be just fine. You're in the Adamson family and this family always looks after each other. Always."

Family Dinner

It is very rare for the Adamson Family to all have dinner together.
