Car Pool

While Maura really enjoyed being an astronaut, she did not like wearing the spacesuit.

Life took a tragic twist at the Adamson homestead. Sheldon had been outside watching the clouds when suddenly he realized that there was something strange in the sky.

He barely had time to think, "What's that?" Then he found out.

Death in the family

Loosing a family member is never easy. Sheldon was only 62 but sometimes age has to give way to other forces.

Even Grimmy looks like he is saddened by his job today.

Back to the spacesuit

Maura made a big mistake at work today and was demoted back to Astronaut. She came home and cried out "Why me?"

To make matters worse, today is her birthday and she knows that Frederick has a surprise party planned. Now she has to go be "Surprised" when she really wants to be by herself.

Sometimes being an adult isn't fun.

Maura is not in a party mood

The entire family and several good friends gather to cheer up Maura and help her celebrate.

While she appreciates their efforts, it's quite obvious that she doesn't want to grow up yet.

Frederick likes Maura's new look. A lot!

He cheers on his "Hot Momma" along with the rest of the family. Even Maura seems pleased with her new status as an Elder.

Birthday Surprises

Once again, Birthdays at the Adamson household brings a "special" guest.

Gregory was making good time with Calista, chatting away about friends, family and flowers, when suddenly... Bryan (Gen2) makes a surprise visit.

Grace pops the question

A second reason to celebrate. An engagement.

Grace has been in love with Tyson for such a long time and finally asked him to marry her. She knew that Tyson felt intimidated by Mayor Frederick and was afraid he would never ask her to marry him. So she took matters into her own hands.

He said yes

The newly engaged couple embrace. Now they get to decide how to tell Grace's family about Tyson's new promotion. He's been transferred out of the Legacyville City Hall office to New Simland State Hall.

While they will keep a residence nearby, they won't be getting married in the family chapel. They need to leave in the next few days to move into their new home.

Grace wanted to elope to Las Simas. Tyson liked the idea to a point, but suggested one change. They'd get married in Simas, but he convinced her to invite her Mother and Uncle to go along as witnesses.
