Frederick's Birthday Party
Frederick only wanted the family around when he had his birthday party.
He really couldn't see why Elizabeth had insisted on a cake even. He was glad that he was finally becoming a teenager, but didn't understand why it was so important to celebrate it.
After blowing out his candles though, he suddenly felt different. Funny how such a simple act of blowing out candles can change you. Suddenly, he felt older, taller and ready to tackle the world. He found himself wishing he had listened to Elizabeth and let her invite people over for a real party.
Although, maybe this weekend he'll throw a party himself. You don't really have to have a reason for a party, right?
